Eric Roth

President, CEO & Director

Eric holds a Ph.D. in Economic Geology from the University of Western Australia and is an economic geologist with over 30 years of experience in international minerals exploration and mining project evaluation. He was most recently Chief Operating Officer of Mariana Resources Ltd, which was acquired by Sandstorm Gold Royalties in July 2017 for the high-grade Hod Maden copper-gold discovery in NE Turkey. Prior to this, Mr. Roth was Chief Executive Officer of Aegean Metals Group Inc (original acquirer of the Hod Maden project) and President and Chief Executive Officer of Extorre Gold Mines Ltd (discoverer of the high-grade Cerro Moro gold-silver deposit in Santa Cruz Province, Argentina, which was acquired by Yamana Gold Inc. in mid-2012 for CAD 440M).

Eric worked for AngloGold Ashanti Ltd. between 2002 and 2008, initially as the Lima-based Peruvian project and South American opportunities manager and subsequently as the Johannesburg-based Global Head of Greenfields Exploration. During his Johannesburg tenure, AGA’s greenfields exploration teams brought in over 20+Moz Au in new Inferred Resources through discoveries in Colombia (Colosa, Gramalote), Australia (Tropicana), and the DRC (Mongwalu) at a discovery cost of <USD 15/oz. Prior to AGA, Eric worked with TSX-listed Aur Resources Inc., discoverer of the high-grade Louvicourt VMS deposit located near Val d’Or, Quebec.   

Eric is currently a Non-Executive Director of Ivory Coast-focused Awale Resources Ltd. He is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (FAusIMM) and principal of consulting firm ER Global Consulting SA.

Glen Parsons

Director

Mr. Parsons (CA and BComm in economics) is the Chief Executive Officer for Awale Resources Ltd., and a qualified chartered accountant. Mr. Parsons has over 20 years international experience in company building, corporate finance, treasury, operational and general management. His most recent role was as Chief Executive Officer of Mariana Resources, running a diversified global exploration and development company, which was acquired in July, 2017, by Sandstorm Gold. He is also non-executive chairman of AfriTin Mining Ltd., an African tin-focused exploration and development company. He has built new profitable businesses and divisions within both large and small organizations. He was also an executive director of RFC Corporate Finance Ltd., a specialist mineral resources investment bank and fund manager. His specific experience in the junior mining and exploration sector is extensive with appropriate LSE (London Stock Exchange)-AIM (Alternative Investment Market), Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange knowledge and has been involved with a number of successful global equity and debt raisings for junior and developing mining companies on these exchanges.

Mary Little

Director

Mary Little has been an independent consultant for natural resource companies since 2014. As the founding CEO of Mirasol Resources Ltd., a precious metals exploration company focused in Chile and Argentina, she led Mirasol’s growth as a prospect generator and its corporate development activities from 2003 to 2014. Prior to this, she held leadership positions in business development and as country manager for major mining companies, including Cyprus Amax, WMC Ltd. and Newmont Exploration, while based for 15 years in Latin America, and gained early worldwide experience with the Anaconda Minerals Company and Echo Bay Mines. Mary serves as an independent board member of Sandstorm Gold Ltd., Tinka Resources Limited and Pure Energy Minerals Limited, and is the past president of the Denver Region Exploration Geologists' Society. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Franklin and Marshall College (PA), a Master of Science degree in Earth Sciences from the University of California and an MBA from the University of Colorado, and is a Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101 (MMSA).

Sharon Cooper (CA, BA)

Chief Financial Officer

Sharon is a Chartered Accountant with over 10 years of experience in accounting and auditing roles for mining and mining-related companies. Ms. Cooper began her career as an auditor at Ernst & Young, working on both internal and external audits, and gaining experience on larger audits for major mining companies as well as junior explorers and mining-related companies. Since leaving Ernst & Young, Sharon has held senior accounting and financial reporting roles for a number of junior exploration companies and a mining services company. Most recently, Sharon was CFO of Mariana Resources Ltd until its acquisition by Sandstorm Gold Ltd (TSX: SSL, NYSE American: SAND) in July, 2017.

Kathryn Witter

Corporate Secretary

Ms. Witter has been the Chief Executive Officer of Marketworks, Inc since 1989, a private company specializing in providing financial, regulatory and consulting services to both emerging and mid-cap public companies trading in Canada, the USA and the United Kingdom. Ms. Witter has been a director and/or officer in several publicly traded companies and has experience in full cycle accounting, project and budget management; customization of managerial and administrative procedures, mergers and acquisition, negotiation and structuring.

Karen Davies

VP Shareholder Relations and Corporate Development

Karen Davies has been involved in the mining industry since 2002 with a focus on Senior Investor Relations and Corporate Communications roles. Karen has had extensive experience with a number of exploration and production companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange including Fortuna Silver Mines Inc., Rye Patch Gold Corp. and Mariana Resources Ltd. before joining Capella Minerals. Karen led various marketing initiatives with public company management teams to assist with equity financings, to secure coverage from all sectors of the investing community, and to implement internal procedures to ensure clear and effective communication to stakeholders.
